Families are referred to Browning House when the professionals involved:
All referrals are considered and we will work creatively in order to provide a tailored package of assessment to meet the needs of the families using one (or a combination) of the following approaches:
Residential Assessment, Day Assessment or Community Assessment.
Although not an exclusive list we work with parents with:
We work with families from a wide range of ethnic and faith backgrounds as well as with non English speakers.
We provide high quality, detailed independent objective assessments and reports for referral agents.
Browning House can also deliver Child Protection Training to individuals or groups. NCAST can be used to improve the decision-making process by assessing and assisting the child-parent/carer relationship, and is a standardised and evidence-based tool that uniquely assesses interactions between very young children and their parent/carer.
