A Viability Assessment considers the potential for the family to come to Browning House and whether the risk presented can be managed in a Residential setting.

There are 2 ways to undertake a viability assessment:

1. We can read the documentation and then, if we felt it necessary, hold a short informal meeting with your client of approximately 1 hour; during this meeting, the assessment process would be explained, and we would provide a letter stating "Yes we will offer assessment" or "No we will not offer an assessment". This option does not carry a charge..  Timescales for undertaking this will be given at the time of enquiry and is dependent on the volume of documention we need to take into account.
2. A fuller explanation of why we would or would not offer a placement needs a full viability assessment to take place for which a further cost is chargeable, please see below. 

Timescales & Fees

The production of a full viability assessment will require 10 working days to complete and includes a written report.  We also require a meeting with your client at Browning House during the first 5 days.

Cost

£59 per hour reading time and report writing time.

£59 per hour to interview the parents, 2-6 hours will be required, dependant on the concerns to be explored and the parents ability.
